Senior Project Manager - Packaging Industry

A major manufacturer of High-Graphic Corrugated Packaging and POP Displays is currently looking for an experienced Project Manager to be based on-site at one of their Retail Customers in Chicago. This position will be responsible for managing display, packaging and retail insight projects for this retail customer. The position will act as a liaison between client and customer personnel, so as to build and maintain exceptional customer relationships by providing effective and efficient sales, service and process expertise. This position will be based at the Corporate Retail Customer facility in Chicago.

We need a very detailed and time oriented person. Someone with good communication and presentation skills. This person must be able to work independently in a fast paced team environment under deadlines. Ideal candidate will have a Bachelors Degree minimum along with solid Customer Service & Packaging Development experience (Bachelors Degree is Required-Degree in Packaging preferred). Some experience in the area of Graphic Design and/or Structural Design would be a plus. Previous or current Project Management experience in the Packaging and/or POP Display Industry is required. Experience working for another large Corrugated Packaging and Display manufacturer would be ideal although someone coming from the area of Packaging Development or Packaging Engineering at a large Retailer or Consumer Goods Company would also be a very suitable background for this position. Some previous customer service or sales experience would also be a preferred. Someone currently Chicago based would be ideal but this client is open to relocate someone as well.
