Director of Packaging & Process Innovation

A very well established Graphics Firm providing value added pre-media services into the Atlanta Market is looking for an experienced Packaging Innovation Director for their company.

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of Brand & Marketing in the area of Packaging Development & Packaging Design to bring technical knowledge and electronic automation to workflows creating the ultimate workflow efficiency.

Ideal background would be an experienced Packaging Engineer that thinks like a Marketing Professional able to bring Process Improvement initiatives to the table.
This company is a graphic consultancy that supports the packaging & advertising departments of large consumer goods companies going from the idea through digital pre-press all the way to the press (they do not print in-house).
This company provides Art Development working closely with the Corporate Brand Managers and Ad Agencies where they work with the raw packaging designs and make them printable.
This position will be working closely with customers. We need someone that understands production workflows but no actual production experience is required.
Must understand Pre-press and Packaging Design and understand the supply chain from raw design to printing. Process Improvement experience in the area of Packaging Development will be required.
This position will monitor work flows, be very customer facing, make things more efficient, point out areas of improvement and suggest technical solutions.

Bachelors Degree is required (Packaging and/or Engineering Degree preferred).
